Good Day Abdulrahman!!!

You probably means those products which are less in demand??? If yes, i must tell you a few basics of selling: every product has its own place and demand in the market. Even people are selling water, soil and sand.

Selling water at a price of soft drinks was not an easy task initially but now a days, it is in high demand.

similarly people buy very expensive soil and sand because they need it.

SO, when you are able to establish a need of a product, it will turn into a high demand brand.

My advice to you for Seling your unwanted product is to make USP (Unique Selling Points) but first work on creating a need in the market. whenever you get a buying signal from a customer, offer him/her the USPs. Because people need benfits, not features. so always concentrate to offer benfits of the products.

Thats how you will be able to sell your slow moving products.

UNWANTED PRODUCT means you dont like or people dont like ? if it is so you have to switch over some other industry.

It all depends on what your product is about.

Like if you are trying to sell something which is an alternative or might be outdated by a big competitor, then i'm afraid you are competing in the wrong market. But if you have a newly designed/manufactured product, then just as Mr.Nassir was saying, you have to create a need for your targeted consumer to feel that this product might be of an added value to his purchase, focusing on the benifits and the privelages of acquiring it.

Adding to that, you might have a good product yet you are chosing the wrong marketing tools for it. That could also return with negative results making you believe that you have an unwanted product. So it is of a high priority that you carefully understand your market and your product and tailor the best strategy for it.

Perhaps the well known brands are suppressing the not so known brands.

Target prospcts who are not very brand concious and are money concious.

Evaluate the purpose of buying.

Evaluate the budget / money available to buy.

There are many who would buy for convinience (transport) and not shell out extra for comfort.

Similarly, many would be there looking for more room space in vehicle.

Therefore identify / find the NEEDS and work on those cases whose needs can be met and drop the rest to save your time and effort.

Remember your time and efforts are at certain cost and not free.

I have never come a cross an unwanted product or service.if you decide that you are marketing or selling a product that is unwanted, then you have a problem with identifying your segmented and sought after customers.

their is a saying that a good marker or sales professional can sell ice to an iskimo.

I'd say market it as a novelty prodoct, if it's of no real benefit or necessity. Novelties sell! and wear off if it doesn't have significant competition . Or re Invent it. This is just my opinion.
