Tasks and responsibilities
/ The National Project Coordinator Welding Automation is responsible for handling national Automation Sales Projects and supports the handling of international Automation Sales Projects.
If required, the national project coordinator can also take over the planning of after-sales activities for National Welding Automation.
/ The national project coordinator reports directly to the national Head of Automation as a technical manager.
As part of his work responsibility, the national project coordinator also reports to the respective project manager at Fronius International.
The tasks of the national project coordinator differ depending on the type of project as follows:
For National Automation Sales Projects:
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of the scope of services described in the project (project manager function)
- Creates the planning in coordination with the project team required for implementation and their managers
- Responsible for communication between internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for carrying out the design approval, FAT, SAT
- Is the first point of contact for the customer during the order fulfilment phase
For International Automation Sales Projects:
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of the national scope of delivery (work package responsibility) and ensures the necessary customer approvals (final acceptance with responsibility in national organisation)
- Creates the planning based on the overall project plan and in coordination with the project team required for implementation and their managers
- Ensures the timely delivery of supplies from the National Organisation and/or the customer to Fronius International
- Responsible for project communication as agreed with the project manager Fronius International (according to the communication plan - the communication plan defines the communication channel per project, allowing flexibility between Fornius Nat and Int in terms of available resources and competences)
- The national project coordinator is involved in the course of the technical preliminary coordination at Fronius International (aim: to bring in the customer's viewpoint, synchronisation of information for the execution of the system)
- Coordinates with SALES 2nd Level and Sales 3rd Level in advance of the technical coordination with regard to the scope of services and delivery (goal: common picture of the scope of services from the perspective of the sales organisation)
- Participation in the kick-off meeting at Fronius international to ensure the transfer of information in the project (project presentation by PL International, optional for national share of responsibility: work package content by national project coordinator)
- In coordination with the project manager Fronius International, supports the design approval at the customer's site (for complex projects / hybrid meetings with project team Fronius International)
- Ongoing coordination regarding scheduling of work packages as well as proactive and early feedback to the project manager in the event of deviations in the project (scope of services)
- Participates in the FAT if required
- Plans and coordinates in consultation with the project manager Fronius International:
- Participation of the national TSA team in assembly, commissioning, acceptance (in AT and national),
- Processing the remaining todo's from SAT
- Supports the organisation and implementation of the SAT (customer acceptance test) on site
- Forces deadline-critical topics at the customer in coordination with the project manager Fronius International
- Proactively supports claim management towards customers
- Proactively informs the project manager Fronius International about developments at the customer and identifies customer-side risks
- Implements risk management measures in coordination with the Fronius International project manager
- Reports to the project manager of Fronius International as part of the work package responsibility
- Supports the implementation of project completion analyses ("Lessons Learned")
- Compliance with the relevant procedural instructions (methods, tools, processes, etc.)
Management tasks and responsibility of the project manager function:
For the duration of the project, the project team members report to the project manager. He has a project-related right to information, instruction and decision-making.
The team composition and work package allocation are agreed between the project manager and the relevant managers.
Requirements
School education:
Completed technical training in the field of mechatronics (apprenticeship, technical college, HTL, FH, university,...)
Specialized training:
Project management training an advantage
Professional experience:
Experience in project management and staff management in mechanical and plant engineering is an advantage
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
- PC skills
- Driving license B
- Good MS-Office skills

- Constructive, goal-orientated thinking with an eye for the big picture
