Main Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain software that align with feature requirements and constantly improve and refine accuracy,
  • Develop and maintain APIs to expose data to planning, ordering and reporting systems,
  • Use various data storage facilities to support data access patterns,
  • Ensure the scalability and quality of all cod,
  • Use and promote software engineering standard methodologies across the team.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM
  • Demonstrated skills implementing and deploying high volume and highly scalable services,
  • Experience with programming and design (preferably Go and Python),
  • Experience in at least one major cloud platform and their managed services (GCP, AWS or Azure, GCP preferred),
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling,
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations is a plus,
  • Experience or willing to learn working in an Agile/Scrum environment,
  • Experience with one or more Unit testing frameworks,
  • Experience with XML, JSON, and/or YAML,
  • Understanding of RESTful services.
