We are looking for a passionate Method Engineer to join our team.


What will be your contributions?


The main function of a Methods engineer is to apply Method Time Measurement (MTM) analysis for Wind Blade Manufacturing operations. A typical Methods Engineer is able to create engineering solutions and new methods to support continuous improvement activities by driving lean idea at production shopfloor. 


• Study time, motion and methods for each operation of wind blade manufacturing. Conduct time measurement studies (MTM-UAS) in processes by aiming standard production rate and improved production efficiency.


• Prepare parallel work organization diagrams for operators and line balancing diagrams to calculate production efficiency. Analyze root causes of gaps between theoretical data and actual data to drive solutions for the best productivity.


• Implement lean applications and improvement projects in processes by performing all necessary analysis. Participate and support to Kaizen, Capacity improvement and balancing projects.


• Use problem solving methods to address internal and external customer expectations


• Support feasibility analysis for Investment Projects


• Interpret engineering drawings / work instructions to determine quality and reliability standards, seek alternative methods to improve operations


• Seek solutions to create ergonomic and safe work environment at production shopfloor


• Read engineering drawings / work instructions to verify ongoing production with respect to quality assurance specifications.


• Aid in planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity and anticipated delays.


• Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, operation layouts and machine utilization to create standard operation instructions.


How do we describe the perfect match?


Bachelor's degree in engineering required.


• Min 2 years’ experience in improvement of production methods and projects,


• Having knowledge of Times and Methods techniques, lean manufacturing applications. MTM-1 or MTM-UAS knowledge is a plus. 


• Knowledge about composite production technologies. Wind blade industry experience is a plus


• Good command of MS Office applications and Statistical Analyze Tools. Minitab is a plus. 


• Creativity, analytical thinking and problem solving ability.


• Able to demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills with multi-disciplinary audiences


• Team player and detail oriented.


• Ability to lead multi-site continuous improvement projects


• No travel restrictions, 50% travel is expected.


• Fluency in English,
