Job Description

We are looking for a Specialist, Global Mobility (f/m/d) to join the People and Culture team on our journey to always delivering amazing experiences.


The Global Mobility Specialist is the subject matter expert in relocation, immigration, taxes and is capable of expanding their knowledge to support various mobility projects.


This role manages and operationalizes various types of mobility cases including remote hires (via entities or without entities across the globe), international transfers and short and long term assignments. This may involve partnering with external service providers (e.g.: immigration, relocation, taxes). The Global Mobility Specialist understands and advises on mobility policies, laws, and practices to internal stakeholders (talent acquisition team, people partners, payroll, corporate tax, employment law, hiring managers, business leaders, candidates and employees).


Your mission:


  • You are the first and main point of contact for queries relating to remote hire / transfer and relocation for our Heroes (new and existing), managers and other key stakeholders (across entities)
  • You own the end-to-end remote hire and transfer operational processes including internal systems set up (Workday), delivering an amazing remote working experience for our Heroes and creative solutions for our business.
  • You effectively communicate remote hire / transfer policies and processes to ensure fair and consistent treatment for new and existing Heroes.
  • You proactively manage issues, escalations, and exceptions to ensure a positive Hero experience
  • You collaborate cross-functionally (e.g. tax, legal, payroll, etc.) to ensure that remote hire / transfer cases’ risks are managed and meet the regulatory requirements, standards, and other known relevant policies and guidelines.
  • You document, maintain/update remote hire / transfer information & training materials. Support / lead learning sessions for the business, People team and other support functions.
  • You track and maintain key statistical data relating to remote hire / transfers. You participate / lead in analytics and translation of data and implementation of solutions / improvements.
  • You proactively identify, recommend and participate /lead Global Mobility program process resource, policy improvements
  • You actively participate / lead ad hoc projects, including cross-functional projects

Qualifications
  • You have at least 3 years experience in hands-on HR, with a focus on globally mobile employees. Experience in a hyper-growth environment is a plus.
  • You are very good with people, highly empathetic and are able to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across levels, geographies and departments
  • You are a strong communicator (fluent in English. German is nice to have but not required). You listen with the intent to understand and are able to bridge gaps in knowledge. You also ask the right questions and obtain the right information.
  • You work well in a team environment as well as independently, juggling multiple priorities and delivering quality results / solutions quickly.
  • You are highly adaptive. You love complex challenges and thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • You have good analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative) and great attention to detail
  • You have a strong drive to achieve the highest customer service levels and passion to make a meaningful impact and helping others You have good analytical skills and attention to detail
