What You’ll Be Doing?

• Demonstrated experience in managing teams and leading complex financial reporting projects.
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), with the ability to apply these standards effectively in complex scenarios.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and strong leadership skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple strategic tasks in a deadline-oriented environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Overseeing the preparation and accuracy of monthly stand-alone and consolidated financial reports and notes in accordance with IFRS.
• Directing detailed analysis of financial statement accounts for accuracy and adequacy in line with IFRS, ensuring reconciliations are performed consistently and in accordance with established procedures.
• Leading the creation and timely submission of Reporting & Business Review ad-hoc reports.
• Overseeing the preparation of monthly cash flow reports
• Developing and implementing strategies for the preparation of management reports
• Staying abreast of developments in IFRS and Group’s Accounting Policies and implementing necessary changes.
• Championing change and process improvement, initiating and overseeing process improvements.
• Providing mentorship and development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
• Prepare internal and external financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards and consolidation
• Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
• Lead yearly external audit process
• Support company management with various ad-hoc reports and analysis
• Actively manage and develop a highly skilled and motivated team

 

 What You’ll Bring?

• A curious and persistent personality with a “can-do” attitude and “hands-on” mentality
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or Informatics and other relevant departments
• 10+ years of Audit experience in BIG 4, coupled with FMCG, retail, similar ecosystems experience
• Data driven and detail-oriented approach and able to translate data into insights and actions
• Fluency in English is a must
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Passion to be a part of Getir’s growth journey and willingness to step out of the comfort zone in a highly demanding environment
