Job Description:


Gunvor Turkey Destek Hizmetleri A.S requires a smart, confident, knowledgeable and energetic HR & GS officer to manage the day-to-day functions of HR and administration.


As a member of the HR EMEA team, the HR & Administration Officer will be accountable for implementing company HR policies, and for the execution and delivery of HR Core payroll, social insurances, benefits, time & attendance, leave management, worker’s compensation. He/she is the leader of culture encouragement and sharer of great integrity among the team.


Acting under general supervision, the incumbent will also utilize her/his administrative knowledge to assist the Global Head of General Services and Administration in the coordination of the daily operations of the facility management and general services operations through strong administrative, organizational, technical and communication skills.


The incumbent will lead / be associated to various improvement projects.


We seek candidates with excellent communication, record-keeping, organizational and time management skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of HR functions and labor laws.


Main Responsibilities


  • Maintain and manage relevant personnel policies and employee records and documents related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating employees;


  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition department the recruitment processes and career fairs processes when relevant;


  • Manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs, learning and development;


  • Formulate and establish as needed new policies/guidelines to facilitate progression in the organization’s overall procedures to further assist personnel in task completion to ensure compliance and consistency;


  • Work closely with EMEA Head of HR and Total Reward COE to prepare strategies benefitting personnel such as benefits and compensation scheme, engagement activities and employee value proposition;


  • Coordination of HR Core payroll, social insurances, benefits, time & attendance, leave management, worker’s compensation services;


  • Assist the Global Head of GS & Administration by ensuring proper implementation/upgrade as deemed necessary of internal administrative procedures in order to create and maintain a pleasant work environment;


  • Maintain relations and communicate with third-party providers to ensure provision of office management essentials;


  • Overview office necessities and ensure adequate management of certain requirements (supplies, repairs, etc.)


  • To manage the stationary and postal and courier framework contracts insuring orders, reviewing invoices and preparing provisional acceptance;


  • To receive, process and log all incoming mail, express mail and parcels delivered to the office;


  • To administer attendance, keep accurate office records and provide relevant reports when applicable


  • Provide support in any ad-hoc projects requested by HR EMEA Lead or GS Management.


Profile:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economy, or equivalent. Related degrees to HR functions;


  •  Certifications with specializations in HR areas, including hiring, engagement and people analytics a plus


  • At least 3 years of professional experience of progressive and hands-on Human Resources and Administrative functions;


  • Proficiency in specialized digital HR tools


  • Ensuring consistent adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements, this involve working with legal resources, local authorities, external consultants to interpret and implement complex/ambiguous policies and or country requirements


  • Possess working knowledge and be current with all relevant employment related laws, compensations, planning and development, and overall administration;


  • High sense of integrity;


  • Excellent multitasking, coordinating, and interpersonal skills;


  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills;


  •  Manifesting strong verbal communication skills, team player, and highly motivated;


  •  Great communication skills, ability to work in a team and under pressure;


  • Must be accurate and efficient, high energy, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities;


  •  Good command of English is a must.
