ADIA is pleased to announce its new 2026 Quantitative Residency Program, designed for exceptional PhD researchers and advanced doctoral candidates across a range of quantitative disciplines.
This program provides a unique opportunity to tackle complex, real-world challenges at the intersection of: Quantitative Research Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Data Science Systematic Investing Participants will collaborate closely with our senior researchers, engineers, and scientific investment professionals, contributing to high-impact research in areas such as: Uncertainty modeling Robust portfolio optimization Estimation of large‑scale covariance matrices Agent‑based and agentic systems Predictive modeling in low signal‑to‑noise environments Modeling of social and economic network We are looking for intellectually curious individuals with a strong passion for solving challenging, research-driven quantitative problems.
Our highly selective program is open to: PhD students in their third year or beyond Recent PhD graduates seeking research-focused industry experience Candidates from relevant disciplines, including (but not limited to): Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Computational Finance, Engineering, and related quantitative fields.
Residency durations range from 3 to 18 months and will be based at our headquarter in Abu Dhabi.
Selected candidates will receive visa, relocation, accommodation support, as well as a competitive compensation and benefits package.
