Accountant for Trading Company

Apt Resources is currently seeking an Accountant to join the team of our client, a dynamic and fast-growing trading company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the company, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the trading industry and be familiar with inventory management and cost accounting.

• Manage the company's financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile with the general ledger
• Calculate and track cost of goods sold (COGS) and ensure accurate product costing
• Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax filings
