The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in the College of Engineering at American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for an adjunct teaching opportunity commencing in Fall Semester 2027 in the area of computer science and engineering. Experience in the American model of higher education is highly desirable.

The applicant is required to have a PhD in Computer Engineering or a closely related field and show evidence of a significant teaching portfolio. The candidate is expected to teach one to two courses per semester at the AUS campus in Sharjah. Courses are typically offered during the day, two or three days a week.

The department offers a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Master of Science in Computer Engineering, a Master of Science in Machine Learning, in addition to a joint PhD program in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
