Description
Ensures Company’s business units are operating in compliance with local government regulations and guidelines. Establish and maintain a good network and working relationships with key government agencies/ offices to ensure business related processes are completed on time. Keep abreast of updates in processes, guidelines concerning business licensing, permits, employee visas/ residencies, and related activities. Provides expertise advice and assistance to business units and internal departments in navigating complex government entity processes and procedures. Ensures accurate and detailed record management for each business unit in relation to legal and administrative requirements. Administers more general duties and responsibilities assigned by GCC Services General Counsel and/or GCC Services Legal Department. Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners by managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner Manage and maintain department petty cash Assist in submitting Transfora requests for the Admin team as required Organize meetings within departments and with external parties (if and when needed), ensuring meetings are well-planned and necessary arrangements are secured. Take the minutes of the meeting and circulate to concerned individuals to ensure alignment with meeting agenda and deliverables. Ensure follow-up on agreed action points/ deliverables from meetings and maintain required documentation to record progress. Create, maintain, and update records and databases with personnel, financial, and other data relevant to the performance of work. Initiating, monitoring, instructing, and coordinating the Admin/PRO team tasks, agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. To ensure schedules are adhered to by the Admin and PRO team Provide general office support when required, which includes filing, scanning, updating records, etc.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in administration or relevant field. 7 years’ experience in a similar role. Knowledge of UAE free-zone and non-free zone business rules and regulations Experience working with various Government Agencies, Entities and Authorities Has experience handling company registration, licenses renewal, amendments, etc. Must be bilingual (English & Arabic), French is an added advantage Highly emotionally intelligent with excellent stakeholder relationship management skills. Excellent influencing and negotiation skills Strong networking skills Excellent Planning & Organizing skills with the ability to work well under pressure and with a multicultural team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Expert knowledge in Government Affairs processes Good computer skills (Familiar with MS Office suite applications) Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities* Highly detail oriented
