ARCHITECT - DM & ADM AUTHORITY SUBMISSION

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: We are seeking a talented and experienced architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate client visions into innovative architectural solutions. The architect will be responsible for leading design projects from concept development through construction completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budgets, and timelines.

JOB REPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptual Design: Develop creative design concepts that align with client requirements, project objectives, and site constraints. Produce sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Design Development: Progress designs from concept stage to detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details. Incorporate feedback from clients, consultants, and stakeholders to refine designs.
• Technical Expertise: Apply comprehensive knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and building systems to develop functional, safe, and sustainable designs. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
• Project Management: Lead design teams and coordinate multidisciplinary efforts to deliver high-quality architectural solutions. Establish project goals, schedules, and budgets. Monitor project progress and address any design-related issues or challenges that may arise.
• Client Interaction: Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication, active listening, and responsiveness. Present design proposals, facilitate client meetings, and obtain approvals at various project stages.
• Documentation: Prepare and review comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and reports. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness of documentation for construction purposes.
• Construction Administration: Provide support during the construction phase by responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, and addressing design-related issues on-site. Collaborate with contractors and consultants to ensure quality and compliance with design intent.
• Continuing Education: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architecture and design. Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be available to join IMMEDIATELY.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 7-10 years of professional experience in architectural design, with a proven track record of successful projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and independently manage multiple projects.
• Architectural licensure preferred but not required.
• LEED accreditation or other sustainability certifications a plus.
