ARCHITECTURAL INSPECTOR

JOB TITLE:  ARCHITECTURAL INSPECTOR

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Duncan & Ross is looking for an Architectural Inspector for one of our client -  a leading design consultancy firm in the UAE, specializing in innovative architectural solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on sustainability, we strive to deliver high-quality designs that meet the unique needs of our clients.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, construction, and quality assurance, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding industry standards.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects to ensure compliance with architectural plans, specifications, and building codes.

2. Evaluate the quality of workmanship and materials used in construction, identifying any deviations from approved plans or industry standards.

3. Document inspection findings, including photographs, measurements, and detailed reports.

4. Communicate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns discovered during inspections.

5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to construction teams regarding architectural requirements and best practices.

6. Monitor progress on construction projects and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.

7. Collaborate with architects and engineers to resolve design-related issues and ensure the successful completion of projects.

8. Stay informed about changes to building codes, regulations, and industry standards, and incorporate updates into inspection procedures as needed.

9. Participate in pre-construction meetings, site visits, and project meetings as required.

10. Uphold a commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work, adhering to company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

2. Previous experience in architectural inspection, construction management, or a similar role.

3. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction standards in the UAE.

4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.

5. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural plans, drawings, and specifications.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

7. Familiarity with construction management software and tools for documenting inspections and generating reports.

8. Certification as a Building Inspector or similar credentials preferred .
