Job Title:      Senior Architectural Designer / Project Manager
Location:            Dubai
We are currently recruiting for an Architectural Project Manager to work for a leading player in UAE construction industry, providing modular construction solutions. A Private Property Developer they are renowned for their commitment to pursue innovative building techniques that reduce cost, improve efficiency & time to construct they are looking to employ an experienced Project Architect able to manage the development of concept through to detail design + oversee Construction activities handling on site queries to ensure delivery of building in line with the highest standards for design. With an eye for detail you will monitor all phases of the project, managing both Consultants & Contractors to ensure projects delivered to spec, cost & timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading, managing and overseeing the entire architectural project(s) on a day-to-day basis from the Schematic Design/Conception phase through to Design Development, Construction Drawings, Bidding/Contract Negotiation, Construction Administration and Closeout phases.
• Should have strong background in developing schematic design through to detail design with previous experience of schematic detailing.
• Able to carry out detailed shop drawing review to check Contractors Shop drawings / Fabrication drawings to ensure design intent is accurately translated into reality & check match to situation on site.
• Manage multiple projects and clients at the same time, providing top-notch service throughout
• Complete project submittals, code reviews, and coordination of consultants
• Meet with regulatory authorities and parties as needed.
• Review drawings and ensure accurate document preparation.
• Manage project teams, deliver for the client, and see the project through to completion.
• Formulating cost estimates based on equipment, materials, and labor requirements.
• Ensuring that construction projects meet environmental, safety, structural, zoning, and aesthetic standards.
• Determining and scheduling different stages of the building process, in accordance with the client needs.
• Monitoring the progress of the project and ascertain whether phases of the construction process follow building plans and project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor ‘s Degree in Architectural field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with strong 3D design skills required, with basic knowledge of Revit, Sketch Up, Photoshop, or Illustrator preferred.
• 10-14 years of experience in the same field.
