InterContinental Dubai Marina as Assistant Human Resources Manager.



InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.
Your responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs. Conduct interviews, select candidates, and coordinate the onboarding process. Establish and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. Implement creative and effective methods to attract and retain talent, including the use of social media and other innovative channels. Address and resolve employee concerns, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives. Ensure compliance with local labor laws and hotel policies. Update and communicate HR policies as needed. Facilitate professional development opportunities for employees. Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters. Address benefit-related queries and concerns. Collaborate on the development and implementation of employee wellness initiatives.
Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in human resources management within the hospitality industry. Knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
