    Job Description

    Our client, a leading Insurance company, is looking for a highly experienced and skilled Assistant Manager- Emiratisation to join their operations in Dubai which would involve managing the Emiratization process proactively and consistently to make the company and Insurance Industry the most preferred employer by the UAE Nationals and also enhancing the recruitment and retention of UAE National employees.Your main duties and responsibilities would include Designing, developing and implementing the Emiratization strategy for the company. Working proactively with HR, HODs and line managers to understand and respondto their UAE staffing requirements. Working with the Head of HR in identifying cost effective methods for sourcing high caliber UAE Staff. Developing and managing the UAE Nationals Management Development Program. Managing relationships with all government and external organizationse.g. EBIFS, HCT and ENDP etc. Planning, organizing and attending Career Fairs etc. Managing and co-ordinating internships Graduate programmes work experience ofUAE National Students. Assisting in the integration of UAE National Employees by providing appropriate HR Support and guidance to both line managers and UE National employees. Facilitating the delivery of HR core services to UAE Nationals. Identifying and recommending improvements in processes and procedures in recruiting, retaining, remunerating and recognizing UAE Nationals. Career Planning and Development for UAE Nationals across the company in all branches of insurance within the company. Reviewing training requests for Nationals and make recommendations, keeping abreastof what is available in the Insurance Industry. Setting Annual Emiratization Target for each Department and the company.


    The ideal candidate should be a graduate from any discipline whereas a qualification in HR would be highly preferred. He should have 4 - 5 years work experience in the HR Department related to Emiratization program preferably from a Bank. He should have knowledge of local labour and immigration laws and also knowledge of laws related to the employment of UAE Nationals. He should have the experience in process of Recruitment methodology and processes knowledge and also knowledge of employee relations, disciplinary procedures and conflict resolution. The candidate should have good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. He should also have the ability to resolve difficult or stressful employee issues and to foster a cooperative work environment.
