Job Description
Design and develop automotive chassis components and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Perform structural analysis and simulation to optimize chassis performance and durability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate chassis systems with other vehicle components. Conduct design reviews and generate engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test plans. Evaluate and select materials, suppliers, and manufacturing processes for chassis components. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to chassis design and performance. Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to automotive chassis design. Support prototype and production build activities, including testing and validation of chassis systems. Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of chassis components. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and departments as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or CATIA. Strong knowledge of chassis design principles and industry standards. Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive chassis design. Experience with structural analysis and simulation tools, such as ANSYS or Abaqus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
