Media.Monks is looking for a Multimedia Designer to join our ever-growing team. In this role, you will design, create, manipulate and tailor graphics, images, sound, animation, video and text to create integrated multimedia for social-first programs for clients based across the region.
You will combine design skills with technical knowledge to develop relevant, meaningful and strikingly awesome fit-for-purpose designs across multimedia formats. You will be able to interpret a client brief, prepare design concepts, produce digital collateral, create short videos, and other marketing and company materials.
Key Responsibilities
In this Riyadh-based position, you’ll be responsible for creating a suite of multimedia design as part of a fast paced locally based team. You’ll help to shape content by bringing fresh ideas to the table, putting a spin on motion graphics and creative ideas to engage the client's social audiences. You’ll help the team in the conception of creative audiovisual ideas based on the objectives to be communicated and actively participate in the development of audiovisual productions and post-production development. You propose additions and adjustments that will contribute to the commercial and creative goals of the project. You’ll produce high-quality deliverables such as detailed storyboards from scratch as well as completing those already in the works. You have a flair for making boring static assets come to life through video assets with obsessive attention to detail. You make sure all executions are in line with the project’s objectives and client expectations.
Background & Skills
You have experience working as a multimedia designer at a high, international level. You speak English and Arabic fluently and are able to create in both languages. You have had 4+ years of experience in the Middle East and have worked on projects that require an applied understanding of Arabic design. Advanced level in motion graphics with expertise on video editing. Experience on color correction and knowledge on audio editing. You know Google products and the Adobe Suite like the back of your hand. 3D animation will count in your favor but isn't a must. You can create clear decks that effectively communicate your thinking and help stakeholders to make decisions. In our line of business, there’s a little surprise around every corner, but with your creative problem-solving skills you can tackle each and everyone of ‘em. You’re always up-to-date with the latest (motion design) trends and innovations. You’re meticulous in your process, and have an eagle-eye for detail. Last but not least, you are a true team player with very likable social skills.
Requirements:
Degree in Animation or multimedia design Expert use of Adobe suite Expert technical knowledge in motion graphics, rotoscopy, tracking and compositing. Character animation VFX Color correction Sound editing. mixing and mastering Innovative thinking Multimedia developer for social media Entertainment and/or editorial experience (tv, cinema, news outlets, etc). 4 to 5 years experience. Participated in the animation pipeline or workflow in production companies. Communication and organisational skills (self managing) High digital focus
