About the job Business Development Manager - Mall Division
Responsibilities:
- Business Development and Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the mall division to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including potential mall locations and partnerships, to expand our footprint.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mall management teams, key stakeholders, and business partners.
- Negotiate lease agreements, terms, and conditions to secure prime retail space in top-tier malls.
- Collaborate with mall management on marketing initiatives, events, and promotions to drive store traffic and sales.
- Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets for the mall division.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to optimize sales and profitability.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.
- Brand Development and Marketing:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and attract high-end clientele.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and presentation across all mall locations.
- Organize and participate in promotional events and exhibitions to showcase our luxury furniture collections.
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the setup and opening of new stores, ensuring they meet the companys standards of excellence.
- Coordinate with the merchandising and inventory teams to ensure optimal product assortment and availability.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures to maintain high standards of customer service and store presentation.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals dedicated to the mall division.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure team members meet their goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales management, preferably in the luxury retail sector.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of the luxury market and customer preferences.
- Ability to analyze market trends and sales data to inform business strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
