Job Description

Our client is looking for a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) within the company's IT is a professional responsible for managing the relationship between the IT department and the business units of an organization. The BRM serves as a liaison between IT and the business, ensuring that IT services and solutions align with business needs and goals. 

Key responsibilities of a Business Relationship Manager within IT may include: 
  • Building and maintaining relationships: The BRM is responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including executives, department heads, and project managers. 
  • Understanding business needs: The BRM must have a deep understanding of the business needs and goals in order to effectively align IT solutions and services with those needs. This requires knowledge of the organization's strategic plans, business processes, and operational procedures. 
  • Identifying opportunities for IT to add value: The BRM must be proactive in identifying areas where IT can add value to the business. This involves staying up to date on emerging technologies and trends, and understanding how they can be applied to improve business operations. 
  • Communicating with stakeholders: The BRM must be an effective communicator, able to articulate the benefits of IT solutions and services to business stakeholders in a way that is easy to understand. This includes creating and delivering presentations, proposals, and reports. 
  • Managing projects: The BRM may be responsible for managing IT projects that are related to business needs. This involves coordinating with project teams, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. 
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction: The BRM must ensure that business stakeholders are satisfied with the IT services and solutions being provided. This requires monitoring feedback and addressing any issues or concerns that arise. 
  • Collaborating with other IT teams: The BRM must work closely with other IT teams, such as application development, infrastructure, and security, to ensure that solutions and services are designed and implemented in a way that aligns with business needs. 
  • Business Process: analyze current Business processes, assess capabilities, leverage the automation and intelligence for the TO-BE process. 
  • Management & Reporting: Prepare regular Dashboard and engagement model for the reporting with respective business unit head to share the backlog, deliverables and benefit realization.
  • Governance & Audit: Ensure adherence to the GOBIT, ITILL, follow lean six sigma, ISO and Security standard for all related Business requirement cycle and development Overall, the Business Relationship Manager within company's IT plays a critical role in ensuring that IT solutions and services are aligned with the needs of the business, and that the IT department is viewed as a valuable partner in achieving business goals. 

RequirementsYour Profile: 

  • 10+ years of experience mainly in Business and Clients relations within the B2B IT service industry. 
  • Speaking English and Arabic is a must due to the nature of the job. 
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree specialist in Business Administration or Computer Science is preferred. 
  • Have the following technical skills and competencies is must: SAP Landscape Development, Governance Communication, People focus Management, and Six Sigma
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. 
  • Able to manage conflicts, difficult situations, and 
  • Experienced in managing internal and external stakeholders, and other government bodies. 
  • Must be based in the UAE, within proven experience and results.
