About the job Business Unit Manager
The Role:
- The candidate would manage UGHI Sales Unit including managing the entire commercial relationship with UGHI/Alpha managers on behalf of the company Including managing team in line with Al Mufid strategy and business agreements with UGHI including the following:
- Annual Sales Budgets by Brand/ Channel in terms of units, value, and GP
- Manage entire Channel Sales & Merchandising teams to ensure proper sales, distribution & execution of trade marketing plans in all relevant channels Retail-Pharma-Ecommerce, wholesale, Government & B2B
- Manage the P&L of the brand and sales unit to ensure achievement of budgets.
- Directly communicate and plan with UGHI/Alpha teams mutual agreed activities and targets.
- Ensure all trade marketing activities including BDA, promotions, listing, rentals are fully approved and smoothly settled by UGHI.
- Provide senior management with periodical reporting as and when required.
The Skills and Qualifications
- University degree in Marketing / Sales/ Business Administration/ Economics/ Commerce.
- Above 10 years relevant experience managing relevant Personal care / Baby care category brands in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage
- Previous experience managing relevant brands
- Knowledge of planning and executing trade marketing activities
- Analytical, Creative and Strategic Thinking
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Multi-tasking and delegating
- Cross-functional project leadership
- Business analysis and Consumer insights
- Financial acumen
- Competent with Excel / Sales CRM / Oracle
- Written and Oral Presentations Skills
