About Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Head Cashier in Dubai. In this role, you will not only manage cash transactions and process payments but also play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our valued clients. As the Head Cashier, you will lead by example, ensuring smooth operations at the checkout while fostering a positive and efficient environment for both customers and staff.Responsibilities:Here is the main job purpose:Welcome customers warmly upon their entry into the store and provide assistance with their purchases. Efficiently scan items, process payments, and issue accurate receipts using cash registers or POS systems. Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely and according to company protocols. Address customer complaints or inquiries in a professional and polite manner. Provide information to customers regarding products, prices, availability, and promotions. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the checkout area by removing debris, arranging merchandise, and restocking supplies. Adhere to all cash handling and accounting procedures to ensure precision and compliance with company policies. Support stocking shelves, setting up displays, and other tasks during quieter periods. Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure seamless store operations and exceptional customer service.Requirements:Here are the qualifications and skills required:Preference for previous cashier or customer service experience, though not mandatory. Proficient numerical and math abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently. Attention to detail, efficiency and accuracy in transaction processing. Availability to work in flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Positive demeanor and eagerness to learn. Proficiency in English is advantageous.
