CIVIL ENGINEER - FAÇADE

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE::

As a Civil Engineer - Facade Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the design and execution of facade projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative facade solutions that meet our clients' aesthetic, functional, and sustainability goals. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and project management skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and engineer high-performance facade systems, considering structural integrity, thermal performance, material specification, and sustainability.
• Use software tools for structural analysis, thermal modeling, and facade design.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to integrate facade solutions into overall building design.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Conduct site inspections and facade condition assessments.
• Provide technical guidance during the construction phase to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in facade engineering and sustainability.

KEY SKILLS:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in facade design and engineering.
• Proficiency in facade engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, ANSYS).
• Strong understanding of building physics, materials science, and structural mechanics.
• Experience with sustainable building practices and certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM).
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
