Civil Engineer ( Abu Dhabi)
Find your next job opportunity with Adecco. We are hiring for an international client who is in marine construction. As part of the operational setup of their branch in Abu Dhabi and following the expansion of their activities, we are seeking a professional to join their International Project team.
Title: Civil Engineer 
Location: Abu Dhabi
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the execution of works of the various specialties in the field of maritime projects on behalf of the client.
  • Operational management, civil and marine works coordination, cost control, planning, and quality control.
  • Ensure optimal and safe execution of the company’s charters and services in Civil & Marine Infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure timely availability of resources and quality of goods.
  • Monitor daily circumstances and advise line managers regarding changes in operational approaches.
  • Ensure compliance with company and customer policies and procedures and local rules and legislation.
  • Contribute to the development of procedures and policies and provide input for (De)Mobilization and preparation/ dismantling phases of the projects.
  • Prepare various types of documentation, such as activity, technical, and quality assurance reports.
  • Organize the final process for obtaining relevant operational licenses from official entities.

Qualifications/ Professional Experience:
  • Higher education in Civil Engineering.
  • Qualifications certificate recognized and registered by the local authorities - Ministry of Education.
  • Lawfully authorized to work as a civil engineer in the UAE.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in Marine Infrastructure, in the UAE market.
  • Experience in construction projects being a safety leader with knowledge of building infrastructures, structural engineering, and management of multinational teams.
  • Knowledge of marine engineering processes.
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken).

Other Requirements:
  • Valid Emirates ID or authorized to reside and work in the UAE.
  • Valid UAE driving license.

Extra Information:
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams with international colleagues.
  • Reporting directly to the Project Manager or Regional / Country Manager of the client in UAE.
