CSSD Technician

POSITION TITLE:               CSSD TECHNICIAN – OPERATING ROOM REPORTS TO:                     

CSSD Supervisor / NURSE MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY:         

Responsible to provide quality patient care through decontamination, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution of medical and surgical items according to Hospital policy and international standard

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school Certificate
• Diploma or Degree Certificate in Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) of two years.
• International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material management (IAHCSMM) or The Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 4-year experience in Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) within hospital setting.
• Current license to practice Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
• CPR preferable.
• Private hospital experience preferred
