Job Description



We're actively looking for Data Architect for a Silicon Valley-based healthcare technology company, operating from Islamabad with a Product, Project, and Resource-based business model. We provide services like Employee Health Records among others and are team of nearly 200 employees globally.Job Role Main (Duties on which candidate will spend more than 70% of his time)Define required data to be collected from Participants Work with the Integration Architect to define required data to be collected from participants Support Clinical team in defining Health Care workflow integration triggers Performs feasibility studies and requirements analysis for system integration between applications using healthcare and industry standard formats. Collaborate with end users, customers and vendors to define business requirements Provide architectural expertise to set direction and aid Systems Analysts, Systems Engineers, DBAs and other HIE Architects Gain an understanding of current architecture, data sources and tooling to define the target data architecture and strategy to support business objectives. Providing design guidance that follows the enterprise architecture vision and adheres to applicable Data technology guidelines; and mitigating the impact of technical design to security, performance and data privacy. Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration ofstructured and unstructured data to generate insights. Model business scenarios which impact on critical business processes and/or decision making. Introduce best practices and principles around data design and governance to enable consistent delivery and alignment with long term direction of the organization. Establish standards, procedures, guidelines, and best practices related to data architecture Supervise the work with Participants to ensure they provide the required data for client Support Key Business stakeholders and Technical teams to build reports, and dashboards for population and public health services that will be consumed by regulatory services. Attend meetings of various organizations. Promote good public and professional relations. Work with management to formulate plan for professional development. Provide Technical Solution Delivery Inputs for the Application areas of expertiseJob Role Secondary (Duties on which candidates will spend less than 30% time)Solid understanding of HIE best practices.Excellent experience in HL7, CDA, XDS, FHIR, and all related HealthCare interfaces technologyStrong data analytical skills and empirical reporting capabilities.Deep understanding and application of modern data processing technologies and real- time/low-latency data pipeline and ETL architectures.Proficient in secure data architecture and security models across data platforms. Advanced knowledge of Big Data Platforms and concepts (Data Lake, Hadoop, Cloud Infrastructure platforms, etc.)Experience with containers and related technologies like Dockers and Kubernetes. Knowledge of automating environment build and provisioning using containers and orchestration tools.Advance knowledge in SQL, NoSQL, XML, JSON, and Big DataExperience with data mining, and data processing.Broad understanding of emerging technology areasExcellent presentation skillsExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to deal with difficult situations.A confident and determined approach. A high degree of self-motivation and drive, drive and a self-starter.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Flexible and professional attitude. Capacity to flourish in a competitive environment.
