Role       : Data & Technical Support Officer (Outsource)
Location : Abu Dhabi                            
Role Purpose:
 


Role is responsible for ensuring the effective operation, quality, and governance of GPPD document management and retention systems, with a strong focus on iServer and Munazzam. The role serves as a key liaison between GPPD, IT teams, and business users, supporting system stability, enhancements, MIS reporting, and the quality of published policies and procedures.


    
Key Accountabilities of the role      
 


  • GPPD Systems Management & IT Coordination- Act as the primary GPPD SPOC for all systemrelated matters concerning iServer, Munazzam, and document retention platforms.
  • Coordinate with IT teams on:System issues and incident resolution,  Enhancements and change requests, User access, configuration, and workflow dependencies.
  • Conduct quality checks (QC) of published policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide timely and accurate MIS reports to GPPD management to support governance oversight and decision making.
  • Support the GPPD team with ad hoc document retrieval, audits, and remediation requests.
  1. GPPD Systems Management & IT Coordination
  • Act as the primary GPPD SPOC for all systemrelated matters concerning iServer, Munazzam, and document retention platforms.
  • Coordinate with IT teams on System issues and incident resolution, Enhancements and change requests, User access, configuration, and workflow dependencies
  • Support UAT and deployment of system enhancements and fixes in coordination with IT and business teams.
  • Ensure smooth daytoday system operations and minimal disruption to GPPD activities.


  1. Document Quality Control & Governance
  • Conduct quality checks (QC) of published policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency of content, proper metadata, versioning, and approval attachments
  • Ensure compliance with GPPD framework and standards
  • Support remediation of identified gaps or errors in published documents in coordination with document owners.


  1. Operational & MIS Support


  • Support the GPPD team with adhoc document retrieval, audits, and remediation requests.
  • Assist in responding to audit queries related to document retention, publishing history and systembased evidence
  • Leverage deep system and process knowledge to resolve issues efficiently and proactively.
  • Provide timely and accurate MIS reports to GPPD management to support governance oversight and decisionmaking
  1. General Management


  • Assist the Leader in the formation and smooth performance of the P & P department.
  • Support in the development and successful implementation of P & P department strategy.
  •  Improve the quality of the document prepared to ensure reflecting best market practice.
  •  Maintain healthy Relationship with all ADIB Unit to facilitate sign offs.
  • To perform the duties expected as a member of the GPPD Management Team
     

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
 


  1. Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a banking or financial institution.


  2. Strong technical and functional expertise in document management systems.


  3. Solid understanding of document retention, governance workflows, and approval dependencies.


  4. Good knowledge of system interfaces, data integrity controls, and reporting mechanisms.


  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and document formatting tools.


  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.


  7. Familiarity with banking terminology and document governance is an advantage.
