Manage and maintain all controlled documents (engineering, procurement, construction, HSE, QA/QC) in accordance with ADNOC standards.
Utilize Smart Plant Foundation (SPF) to register, track, distribute, and archive all incoming/outgoing project documentation.
Control the document lifecycle, ensuring timely revisions, approvals, and issuance of documents across departments.
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure document compliance and alignment with project schedules.
Conduct regular document audits to verify integrity, version control, and compliance with quality standards.
Track overdue documents, send reminders, and escalate delays to the document control lead or project manager.
Prepare document transmittals, status logs, and reports for internal and client submissions.
Ensure proper document formatting and template adherence before release or submission.
Support the handover process by organizing and compiling final project documentation for archiving and client delivery.
Implement and improve document control procedures and systems based on project needs and lessons learned.
Mandatory ADNOC project experience in document control roles (minimum 1 project preferred).
Proficiency in Smart Plant Foundation (SPF) is essential.
Knowledge of other document control software (Aconex, EDMS, SharePoint) is a plus.
Understanding of EPC documentation standards, including drawings, ITPs, datasheets, MTOs, and technical submittals.
High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and PDF tools.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle large volumes of documentation with accuracy.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, administration, or related field preferred.
