Job Description
  • Supervise duct installation teams and allocate daily work activities.
  • Ensure HVAC ducting works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Check duct fabrication, installation, alignment, and sealing quality on-site.
  • Monitor progress of work and report to site supervisor/engineer.
  • Ensure proper use of materials and minimize wastage.
  • Interpret ducting layout drawings, sections, and shop drawings.
  • Ensure proper installation of supports, hangers, and brackets.
  • Conduct quality checks for leakage, alignment, and finishing.
  • Coordinate with other trades (insulation, piping, electrical) for smooth workflow.
  • Enforce safety rules, toolbox talks, and PPE compliance on site.
  • Assist in resolving site issues and minor technical adjustments.

Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of HVAC ducting experience, including supervisory/chargehand role.
  • ITI / Diploma or relevant educational background.
  • Ability to coordinate with engineers and other trades effectively.
  • Strong experience in HVAC duct installation and site supervision.
  • Ability to read and understand HVAC drawings and shop drawings.
  • Good knowledge of duct fabrication and installation standards.
