We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for fire trucks and specialized vehicles. The role requires strong expertise in control systems, automotive electrical design, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Prepare work instructions and detailed electrical schematics for fire truck systems.
Design and develop electrical systems with strong knowledge of control systems and CAN Bus systems.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on hydraulic-related electrical integrations, including water supply and drainage systems.
Develop and issue electrical designs in line with project schedules and deadlines.
Interpret technical specifications and negotiate design details with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate closely with the mechanical design team to ensure proper placement and integration of electrical components in vehicles.
Ensure all designs comply with international automotive standards and regulations.
Review and improve existing systems to enhance performance, safety, and efficiency.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS
Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Expertise in control systems and CAN Bus systems
Familiarity with automotive electrical design standards
Understanding of hydraulic system integration
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Proven experience in automotive or heavy vehicle electrical design (preferably fire trucks or similar equipment)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality engineering design
