JOB DESCRIPTION:
- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead
our sales team across multiple showrooms in our thriving automobile trading
company.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully
managing sales teams, driving revenue growth, and fostering.
- This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and
collaboration with various departments to achieve sales targets and enhance
customer satisfaction.
KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE
ROLE:
Sales Strategy and Planning- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company sales targets
and objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer preferences to identify
opportunities for growth.
- Create and implement MoM & YoY sales plans for each showroom,
considering location specific factors.
- Creating MoM Sales forecast with Designed Profits and quantities.
Team Leadership
- Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and sales targets for
individual team members.
- Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and professional development to
maximize team's potential.
Sales Operations
- Monitor and manage showroom Sales & inventory to ensure Required
stock Mix and product availability.
- Oversee the sales process from customer inquiry to delivery, ensuring
required KPIs are met.
- Collaborate with other departments (Procurement, Marketing, Finance) to
streamline processes and maximise Business.
Customer Relationship Management
- Handling Key Accounts relationships by maintaining open communication
and addressing customers’ needs.
- Monitor customer feedback and utilize insights to improve sales &
marketing processes and acquire new customer.
- Focusing on retention of key accounts and repeat customers to build a
steady baseline for business.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Regularly analyze sales data, performance metrics, and market trends to
maintain ideal stock and pricing.
- Generate comprehensive sales reports and presentations for management,
highlighting achievements and challenges.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage the sales budget for each showroom, optimizing
resources for maximum ROI.
- Monitor expenses, revenue, and profit margins, taking corrective actions
as needed to maintain optimum cost/delivery.
Sales Training and Development
- Organize training sessions through HR Team to enhance the product
knowledge and selling skills of the sales team.
- Ensuring all required sales collaterals and infrastructure is provided
to the sales team to enable them.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a
plus.
- Proven experience (10+ years) as a Sales Manager, preferably in the
automobile e Export Industry.
- Managing P&L for a department would be huge advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- In-depth understanding of automobile products, features, and market
dynamics.
- Proficiency in sales software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Willingness to travel across borders to expand business.
