Head of Green Energy Solutions (EV Charges)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Green Energy Solutions Company to develop the EV charger business in MENA region.
  
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy, business development, and leadership, with a passion for driving sustainable mobility solutions in the UAE & MENA region.
  

KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE:

• Develop and implement the company's strategic vision, goals, and objectives for the UAE & MENA region market, with a focus on expanding our presence and market share in the green energy and EV charging sector.
  
• Responsible for preparing a business plan and achieving the targets.
  
• Explore New Geographies and identifying new business opportunities.
  
• Ability to understand business opportunities to Distributors/Dealers/Govt Organizations & other potential avenues.
  
• Preparing monthly & quarterly plans and meeting the requirements.
  
• Self-motivated and driven by results and Ability to work in a high demanding environment.
  
• Lead and manage all aspects of business operations, including sales, marketing, project management, installations, customer service, and maintenance.
  
• Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders including government agencies, utilities, property developers, automotive manufacturers, and other relevant entities to drive business growth and collaboration.
  
• Develop team to identify and pursue new opportunities, generate leads, and secure contracts for EV charger sales, installations, and service agreements.
  
• Ensure the successful execution and delivery of EV charger projects, including site assessments, engineering design, permitting, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support.
  
• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and threats, and adapt the company's strategies and offerings accordingly.
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability across all aspects of the business.
  
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for team members to foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
  
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility, thought leadership, and industry influence.
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  
• Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive leadership experience in the EV Chargers, renewable energy, clean technology, or related industries, with a proven track record of success in business development, operations management, and team leadership.
  
• Deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape, EV charging infrastructure, and regulatory environment in the UAE market.
  
• Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive revenue growth, and achieve financial targets.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and industry associations.
  
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions, exceeding customer expectations, and driving sustainable business outcomes.
  
• Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  
• Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  
• Valid UAE driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
