Our  leading UK Curriculum School in Dubai is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Department (Mathematics) to join our academic team. 
The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator with strong subject expertise, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to raising student achievement and teaching standards.

• Lead and manage the Mathematics Department to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.

  
  

• Work closely with teachers to develop their skills, subject knowledge, and pedagogical practices, resulting in improved student outcomes.

  
  

• Contribute effectively to curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development initiatives.

  
  

• Collaborate with school leadership to drive academic excellence and continuous improvement.

  
  

• Monitor and support the quality of teaching and learning within the department.

  
  

• Ensure compliance with UAE educational standards and frameworks, maintaining a minimum standard of "Good" teaching across all lessons.

  
  

• Analyze student performance data and implement strategies to improve attainment and progress.

  
  

• Undertake additional responsibilities associated with the effective leadership and management of the department.

  
  

• Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) and Master of Science (Mathematics).

  
  

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Master of Education (M.Ed.).

  
  

• Degrees obtained through distance learning or open universities will not be considered.

  
  

• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.

  
  

• Previous leadership experience within a Mathematics Department in UAE is preferred.

  
  

• Must be currently available in the UAE.
