Summary:
We are seeking a Lifting Supervisor to oversee and manage all lifting operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure that lifting activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
Job Responsibility:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all lifting operations, including the use of cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment
- Conduct pre-lift inspections to ensure that all equipment is in safe working condition
- Provide guidance and direction to lifting team members to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain records of all lifting activities, including equipment inspections, maintenance, and incident reports
- Train team members on proper lifting techniques and safety procedures
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of lifting operations and safety regulations
- Knowledge of different types of lifting equipment and their capabilities
- Certification in rigging and lifting operations is preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a focus on safety
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions
