Title: Marcomms Lead

Opportunity: Shorooq Partners is seeking a Marcomm Lead. The role will be exposed to MENAP fast-growing startup ecosystem and our portfolio companies. It will also be in a unique position to drive strategy and execution of Shorooq Partners Marcomm activities and PR activities to drive our brand presence and equity.
Responsibilities:
Develop Shorooq Partners Marketing and PR Strategy to elevate the company’s brand and presence both regionally and globally
Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns
Execute on outbound or inbound marketing activities (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.).
Analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
Establish Shorooq Partners media presence across traditional outlets and digital platforms
Support in external events management and marketing
Develop and execute the social media calendar
Prepare contents for email marketing activities including events invitations
Prepare scripts for videos and other social media contents
Optimize and support with integration of the marketing technology stack
Maintain marketing budget and report as needed
Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure optimal execution
Share functional knowledge related to day-to-day management of the marketing tech stack
Qualifications:
5+ years in digital marketing, communications or PR with a knack for technology
B.A or B.S degree from a recognized educational institution with excellent academic credentials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with senior leaders (monthly) and C-level executives (periodically) - fluency in English and Arabic
Knowledge of marketing automation tools and campaign management
Experience with analytics tools (GA), tag management platforms and enterprise marketing automation platforms
Attention to details, team player, ambitious, self-driven, results-oriented, and sharp time management skills
