Join us and shape your story with Mott MacDonald, where everyone has the opportunity to be brilliant .   About the Role: Mott MacDonald is looking for a Marine Engineer for the construction supervision works for a marine project in UAE.   Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below: Assist the RE with project management whilst leading and covering all engineering disciplines across the project’s requirements, during design and supervision Assist the supervision, coordination, compliance of all works including marine work, site improvements and construction supervision. Monitor progress of the project against the agreed schedule  Check the Contractor’s submission and respond to their request for information Observe site safety procedures and actively monitor and report on contractor’s safety performance, raising non-conformance reports when required Actively monitor the implementation of contractor’s quality procedures and raise non-conformance reports, as and when required Responding for maintaining and enhancing Mott MacDonald’s reputation with the client and developing long term relationships Prepare technical reports and presentations to update the client on progress   Candidate Specification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Marine Engineering (or any relevant engineering discipline) from an accredited university Demonstrable experience of working on the Marine projects including site improvements on large construction projects with experience in the UAE and in a similar capacity.
