About the job Merchandiser - Luxury Furniture Store
Responsibilities:
- Visual Merchandising:
- Design and implement visually compelling in-store displays that reflect the brands luxury image and enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Ensure all merchandise is presented in a manner that maximizes sales and highlights the features and benefits of each product.
- Regularly update and refresh displays to keep the showroom looking current and appealing.
- Strategic Merchandising:
- Analyze sales data and market trends to determine the best product placement and merchandising strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to plan and execute promotional displays and seasonal themes.
- Monitor and adjust merchandising plans based on product performance and inventory levels.
- Product Knowledge and Training:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all product lines, including new arrivals and bestsellers.
- Provide training to the sales team on product features, benefits, and effective merchandising techniques.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our displays remain competitive.
- Store Operations:
- Work closely with the inventory management team to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment of products.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring a luxurious shopping environment.
- Support the implementation of health and safety standards within the merchandising area.
- Customer Engagement:
- Engage with customers to provide product information and assist in creating personalized design solutions.
- Gather customer feedback on product presentation and store layout to inform future merchandising strategies.
- Enhance the customer journey through thoughtful and innovative merchandising that aligns with their preferences and expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably within the luxury retail sector.
- Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of design principles.
- Proficiency in visual merchandising software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform merchandising decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
