About the job Merchandiser - Luxury Furniture Store

Responsibilities:


  • Visual Merchandising:
    • Design and implement visually compelling in-store displays that reflect the brands luxury image and enhance the customer shopping experience.
    • Ensure all merchandise is presented in a manner that maximizes sales and highlights the features and benefits of each product.
    • Regularly update and refresh displays to keep the showroom looking current and appealing.
  • Strategic Merchandising:
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to determine the best product placement and merchandising strategies.
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to plan and execute promotional displays and seasonal themes.
    • Monitor and adjust merchandising plans based on product performance and inventory levels.
  • Product Knowledge and Training:
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all product lines, including new arrivals and bestsellers.
    • Provide training to the sales team on product features, benefits, and effective merchandising techniques.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our displays remain competitive.
  • Store Operations:
    • Work closely with the inventory management team to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment of products.
    • Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring a luxurious shopping environment.
    • Support the implementation of health and safety standards within the merchandising area.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Engage with customers to provide product information and assist in creating personalized design solutions.
    • Gather customer feedback on product presentation and store layout to inform future merchandising strategies.
    • Enhance the customer journey through thoughtful and innovative merchandising that aligns with their preferences and expectations.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably within the luxury retail sector.
  • Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of design principles.
  • Proficiency in visual merchandising software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
