About the job MICROSOFT DYNAMICS FINANCE FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT - REMOTE

Responsibilities:


  • Requirement Gathering: Engage with clients to gather and analyze their business requirements related to financial management and reporting.
  • Solution Design: Design and configure Microsoft Dynamics Finance modules to address client needs, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
  • Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure Microsoft Dynamics Finance functionalities to align with client-specific business processes and workflows.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to integrate Microsoft Dynamics Finance with other enterprise systems, such as CRM and ERP platforms.
  • Training and Support: Provide training sessions and workshops to end-users on the functionalities of Microsoft Dynamics Finance. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test cases to ensure the accuracy and reliability of configured solutions. Perform quality assurance checks to validate system performance.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and process manuals, to support the implementation and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics Finance solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (8 10 years) as a functional consultant or business analyst, with a focus on implementing Microsoft Dynamics Finance (formerly Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations) solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial management processes, including but not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing Microsoft Dynamics Finance modules to meet client requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Certification in Microsoft Dynamics Finance (e.g., MB-310: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance) is preferred.
  • Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies is desirable.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
