• Creates and develops new graphics templates to use across different platforms; and find new creative methods on programming VIZ templates to help increasing the quality and decreasing the time.
• Inputs ideas, play a role in production planning, give guidance and advice on graphics treatment in terms of production value, visual style and technical viability.
• To be able to troubleshoot and ensure the most efficient working practices are achieved.
•Maintains and develops operational and technical standards including the assistance in the planning of programs and the resolution of technical queries.
• Operates the full range of general newsroom and graphics equipment including ingest, storage, manipulation, origination & transmission.
• Liaises with the news producers to understand their requirements and translate them into creative concepts and illustrations
• Creates designs, concepts, templates and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and design concepts for news stories and ensuring they are aligned to Al Mashhad's brand guidelines
• Maintains an archive of images, photos, design templates and previous work products
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in broadcast on-air design,
• Strong design skills, including an understanding of typography, color theory, and composition
• Expertise in “VIZ RT” applications, with the ability to create and develop new templates.
• Experience in producing high quality creative graphics for broadcast television.
• The ability to manage and deliver a design project from brief to completion
• Ability to set up templates for the Newsroom system
• Familiarity with broadcast technology, including automation & digital technologies, and news production system.
• Good interpersonal skills to establish harmonious working relationships with a variety of personalities,
