Operations Supervisor

The Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Operations Officer in the operations and long-term operational management of the company fleet of ships in Dubai. The responsibility is specifically to provide cost effective, timely and high quality services to meet the operational requirements of the company, along with managing the purchasing function of the department. The position will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities, as well as new improvements in the operation of the company vessel fleet.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure availability of fleet ships while coordinating with the technical team

• Ensure fleet vessels are operated in accordance with company Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards and processes.

• Ensure that all vessels are operable and seaworthy

• Ensure that all defects are reported to the maintenance department as per procedure

• Ensure daily fueling is completed before working hours. Obtain a record and address the appropriate card to the leader.

• The vessel inspection list is handed over to the sliders and filled with the required data.

• Ensure all records and reports are filled out by the crew as per requirements.

• Prepare the ship's crew monthly requirements and schedule

• Ensure ship crews are appropriately trained and qualified for the ship areas in which they will be required to work.

• Responsible for supervising the operation day and night.

• Make sure the water bus captain and sailors are at work 30 minutes before business hours.

• Ensure continuity of operation by all necessary means

• Maintain and develop assets and equipment in accordance with the company’s operational standards.

• Ensure quality customer service provided to travelers, MOU clients, etc.

• Monitor customer feedback from MoU clients.
