Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our project team and support the successful planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control of large-scale construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project schedules, tracking progress, identifying risks and delays, and ensuring projects are completed within the approved timeline and budget.



Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
    • Prepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and resource-loaded schedules.
    • Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned schedules.
    • Analyze project delays, identify critical path activities, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and project performance updates.
    • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to obtain progress data and schedule updates.
    • Conduct schedule risk analysis and propose mitigation strategies.
    • Assist in the preparation of project claims, extension of time (EOT) submissions, and delay analysis reports.
    • Monitor resource utilization and productivity to ensure project efficiency.
    • Participate in project meetings and provide planning-related insights and recommendations.
    • Ensure compliance with project requirements, contractual obligations, and company standards.

Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in large-scale construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects.
    • Mandatory experience with Primavera P6.
    • Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, cost control, and project management principles.
    • Experience in preparing baseline schedules, progress tracking reports, and delay analysis.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
    • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project priorities.
    • Arabic Speaking
