Role Overview
The Procurement Intern will support the procurement team in sourcing, vendor management, and day-to-day purchasing activities. This role provides hands-on experience in supply chain operations, negotiation, and compliance with company procurement policies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers.
  • Support the preparation of Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
  • Collect and analyze supplier quotations to support decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier databases.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and follow up with vendors to ensure timely receipt of goods/services.
  • Support cost analysis and reporting for procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, logistics) to ensure smooth procurement processes.
  • Assist in compliance checks with procurement policies and procedures.
