Procurement Specialist – Arabic Speaking

12-month initial contract – with extensions

On-site in Dubai

I am engaged with a Big 4 Consulting business who are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join them on a long-term program:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process within their organization. Your primary role is to ensure that all necessary materials, components, equipment, and services are obtained at the best possible price and quality to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Key duties:

Sourcing suppliers: Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and establishing relationships with vendors. Procurement planning: Developing procurement strategies, forecasting demand, and creating procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Cost analysis: Analyzing costs, pricing structures, and market trends to optimize purchasing decisions and achieve cost savings. Quality control: Ensuring that purchased materials and products meet quality standards and specifications through inspections and supplier evaluations. Inventory management: Monitoring inventory levels, tracking deliveries, and implementing inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and minimize carrying costs. Risk management: Identifying potential risks in the supply chain, such as supply disruptions or price fluctuations, and developing contingency plans to mitigate these risks. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures, in all procurement activities.
