QAQC INSPECTOR - FAÇADE

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The QA/QC Inspector - Facade is a critical role responsible for maintaining quality standards throughout the development and installation of facade systems. This position involves conducting inspections, overseeing tests, and ensuring compliance with both our high standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, extensive knowledge of facade systems, and a commitment to excellence in construction quality.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform detailed inspections of facade materials, components, and installation processes, ensuring compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Identify, document, and report any defects, inconsistencies, or non-compliances found during inspections.
• Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to address and rectify quality issues.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
• Develop and implement quality control protocols and procedures for facade installation and construction.
• Coordinate with external quality assurance teams and certification bodies as required.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates and insights on quality control matters related to facade systems.
• Stay abreast of advancements in facade materials, construction technologies, and quality standards.

KEY SKILLS:

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA/QC inspector, specifically with facade systems, in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and standards relevant to facade engineering.
• Familiarity with quality standards and certifications in the construction industry.
• Proficient in the use of inspection tools and software relevant to facade inspection and documentation.
• Excellent observational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
