QUANTITY SURVEYOR

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The ideal candidate will have experience in quantity surveying within the design and construction industry, with a focus on high rise tower, buildings, residential, commercial, etc. As a Quantity Surveyor you will play a key role in project cost management, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and cost planning for design projects.
• Managing project budgets and monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Procuring materials, subcontractors, and services in line with project requirements and budgets.
• Administering contracts, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts.
• Providing cost advice and recommendations to project teams and clients.
• Conducting cost control and value engineering exercises to optimize project costs.
• Preparing and presenting cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project cost efficiency and compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:


• Candidate must be Immediately available and based in UAE.
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the design and construction industry, preferably in [mention specific sectors].
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management principles.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Professional certification (e.g., MRICS) is a plus.
