Job description

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with proven experience in utilities and infrastructure projects, working on the consultancy side. The candidate will be responsible for cost management, contract administration, and commercial control throughout the project lifecycle.



Responsibilities:
  • Manage all quantity surveying and cost control activities for utilities and infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents in line with project requirements.
  • Evaluate contractor submissions, variations, and claims in accordance with contract conditions.
  • Review and certify interim payment applications and final accounts.
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure commercial compliance.
  • Provide contractual advice and ensure adherence to FIDIC conditions.
  • Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in utilities and infrastructure projects.
  • Mandatory experience working with engineering consultancy firms.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and cost control practices.
  • Experience in Abu Dhabi / UAE projects preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
