SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Responsibilities
Lead Regional Flooring innovation projects and be responsible for the respective category assortment in terms of regional marketing plan implementation activities, general product support, trainingand product knowledge.
Work with global and regional R&D experts to set-up MEIA Innovation product pipeline and run the specialty projects independently.
Drive segment, regional and local alignment on sales and marketing conceptualization to planning and implementation for the Flooring product portfolio across MEIA.
Secure the regional growth and profitability of the Flooring category by managing the existing portfolio and identifying and capitalising on market opportunities that create value for both customers and Jotun, in order to achieve improved earnings, growth in sales and a stronger position in the market.
Category implementation of activities like re-launches, innovations & releases according to the regional marketing plan in order to ensure that we can meet customer’s needs and expectations and deliver on growth and profitability targets for the region
Project Manage the selected regional innovation projects by collaborating with sales, TSS, R&D and other relevant stakeholders throughout the innovation project. Stakeholder in relevant global IB projects.
Ensure that Products in Service are maintained and consistent by monitoring use, feedback, positioning, pricing and profitability in the market in order to ensure an expected return on investment, quality standards, and Brand recognition.
Govern and support local activity by working closely with local sales and marketing networks to ensure the sharing of best practice, knowledge and potential extended use of local product variations.
Ensure that the positioning of assigned products in the region is in line with Regional and Corporate guidelines by following up on brand strategies and positioning to drive the profitable growth of the assigned products.
Identify relevant new opportunities within the brand strategy by initiatingnew ideas for the assigned products to drive profitable growth.
Support regional network with product knowledge and product training.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
Qualifications
4 - 6 years of experience in Marketing, Innovationand Strategy planning
Brand and Product Management and Innovation experience is essential for the role.
Bachelor's degree in marketing or any related field
Brand Management experience is essential
