SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Responsibilities
Manage and support Engineering tasks and projects in the region by setting standards, training, coordinating, audit to ensure that the Jotun Group achieves its objectives.
Ensure that assigned engineering project costs and quality in the region follow Jotun standards and business principles.
Implement best practices and standardized engineering solutions in the region.
Use sound engineering principles to provide efficient technical solutions and development of systems.
Involve in projects from concept and detail engineering solutions by designing, implementing, testing, commissioning, and handing over to ensure projects’ objectives, requirements, and standards are met.
Ensure further development and provide optimal utilization of Jotun's process control systems in the region for effective and efficient project management and execution.
Provide technical support to Jotun’s factories.
Provide support in the procurement process, including the development of tender documents and bid evaluation.
Monitor and improve Jotun’s factories' energy performance.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering or any related role
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or any related field
Exceptional communication skills
AutoCAD software knowledge is essential
Experience in HVAC/Piping is an added advantage
Traveling is an essential part of the role.
