The Research Project Coordinator supports the coordination and monitoring of research projects, initiatives, and activities under the Office of the Associate Provost for Research. The role requires collaboration with colleges, research centers, administrative units, and external stakeholders to ensure implementation in accordance with approved plans, timelines, and University policies. Coordinate and follow up on the Office’s research projects and strategic and operational initiatives. Monitor plans and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), compile data, and prepare periodic reports. Coordinate with colleges, research centers, administrative units, and relevant external stakeholders. Provide administrative and operational support to researchers, project teams, and committees. Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and deliverables in coordination with the relevant units. Organize meetings and workshops, prepare agendas and minutes, and follow up on decisions and action items. Maintain and update project records, databases, correspondence, and related documentation. Support the preparation of research proposals, collaboration agreements, and funding documents. Coordinate participation in conferences, exhibitions, and research-related events. Contribute to improving administrative and operational processes. Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.


Minimum Qualifications:


 Master’s degree with comprehensive inter-personal and public communication skills  Excellent analytical skills.  Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, as well as independently, with strong organizational and project management skills.


Preferred Qualifications:


 Ms. Office –Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Photoshop  Project management skills.  Business and inter-personal communication skills.
