Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:
  • Analyze customer financial information and assess individual risk, responsible for handling routine credit proposals and making consistent, high-quality underwriting decisions that align with credit policy guidelines. Their main focus is to ensure risk-free credit decisions while meeting processing turnaround time targets. By carefully evaluating customer financial information, the retail credit analyst plays a crucial role in maintaining a high level of credit quality and minimizing risks for the organization

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Internal Customer Service Support


  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues and immediate supervisor regarding related issues.
  • Provide competent, problem-free, and timely service to both internal and external customers.
  • Act as a backup for the Retail Credit Coordinator.

    Accuracy & Timeliness


  • Ensure high work quality with minimal errors.
  • Make timely and quality credit decisions to meet processing turnaround time targets.
  • Identify and report any fraudulent, forged documents, incorrect information, or suspicious activities for further investigation.
  • Maintain a good quality analysis process and handle proposals in a timely manner.
  • Complete all assigned duties and tasks from the Unit Supervisor.

    Policy ,Processes and Procedures


  • Evaluate retail facility applications according to credit policy guidelines.
  • Strictly adhere to credit approval processes and procedures.
  • Interact with department colleagues to identify and initiate process improvements.
  • Ensure all applications pass verification processes and procedures.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all accounts, bank products, and policies.
  • Adhere to the bank's retail credit policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Enhance product knowledge and awareness.

    Team Work Support


  • Coordinate with associates within the department or other departments/branches to foster a high level of teamwork and deliver quality service to internal customers within the committed turnaround time.
  • Support the department in handling additional activities.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Unit Supervisor and share future plans.

KEY SKILLS :


  • Strong communication and written language skills Arabic and English.
  • Knowledge of credit review / Analysis Skill concepts (Preferably).
  • Knowledge of Accounting & Financial Management.
  • Good PC/MS office Skills
  • Good Team Player

Minimum Experience:


  • Experience (1 – 2 Years) 
Academic qualification:
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics 

Language Skills:


  •  Strong in both oral and written : Arabic & English.
